Students solving the three beginner cubes can participate in the Mini Relay Challenge. | Format: 3×3 → 2×2 → Pyraminx (Single Solve) | Note: Mini Relay is a skill event and is not eligible for ranking.
Mirror Cube | Skewb | These events also follow a 3-solve format, giving participants a better chance to achieve their best result.

4×4×4 Cube – Single Solve | Megaminx – Single Solve | Students participating in both events become eligible for the Cube Master Championship Category.
Participants solving 4×4×4 and Megaminx can participate in the Cube Circuit event at no additional cost. Note: Cube Circuit is a skill challenge event and is not eligible for ranking.

Students under 14 years of age can participate in all 10 cube events in the Rising Cubers Championship.
A few special cube events are also available for participants under 18 years, allowing older cubers to participate in selected events.
A Parent Category (3×3×3 Cube) is also available, but only if the child is participating in the championship.

Age categories are determined based on the participant’s age as of the official championship cut-off date.
For the Rising Cubers Championship 2026, the age cut-off date is:

What are the registration stages?
Registration will open in three stages.
Early registration provides better participation benefits.
Once payment is confirmed, parents will receive a confirmation email.
Parents can then log in to their JCA account to verify the events registered.

The JCA Global Ranking system tracks participant performance across championships.
Participants can view their ranking globally and within their category.
Participants can compare their performance with the global database through:

This helps participants understand their performance level globally.
If participants achieve the same average timing, the ranking will be determined using the first and second solve results.

Students can practice using standard competition scrambles provided by JCA and track their daily improvement and practice ranking.

Because of this recognition system, participation in the 3×3×3 cube event is strongly recommended.
For other cube events:

Podium recognition for those events will be through podium trophies and rankings.
Podium winner trophies will be delivered within 7–10 days after the result announcement.
Podium trophies depend on participation levels in each event and age category.
If the number of participants in a category is less than the desired participation count of 10, the number of podium trophies may be adjusted.

The final schedule will be uploaded 2 days before the championship.
Participants must log in to their JCA dashboard to check their event timings.
