Who can participate in the championship?

Students under 14 years of age can participate in all 10 cube events in the Rising Cubers Championship.

A few special cube events are also available for participants under 18 years, allowing older cubers to participate in selected events.

A Parent Category (3×3×3 Cube) is also available, but only if the child is participating in the championship.

Details on how to attempt the Mini Relay Challenge and Cube Circuit Challenge are explained in the Championship Guidelines available in the Flipbook.

How is the age category determined?

Age categories are determined based on the participant’s age as of the official championship cut-off date.

For the Rising Cubers Championship 2026, the age cut-off date is:

What is the last date for championship registration?

What are the registration stages?

Registration will open in three stages.

Early Bird Registration

Priority Registration

Regular Registration

How can I verify the events registered for my child?

Once payment is confirmed, parents will receive a confirmation email.

Parents can then log in to their JCA account to verify the events registered.

If any corrections are required, please inform the JCA team via WhatsApp message.

What is the JCA Global Ranking system?

The JCA Global Ranking system tracks participant performance across championships.

Participants can view their ranking globally and within their category.

What is the new ranking comparison system?

Participants can compare their performance with the global database through:

🌍 YR – Year Ranking
📊 RR – Regional Ranking

This helps participants understand their performance level globally.

How are tie-breakers handled?

If participants achieve the same average timing, the ranking will be determined using the first and second solve results.

This ensures fair ranking and podium placement.

Is there any special offer for the Mini Relay Challenge?

Yes.

Participants registering for the three Beginner Cube Events (3×3, 2×2, Pyraminx) will receive a special discount benefit for the Mini Relay Challenge.

Is Cube Circuit a separate event?

Participants who register for both Advanced Cube Events (4×4×4 and Megaminx) will receive automatic entry into the Cube Circuit event at no additional cost.

Awarded for the Best Average Performance across all age groups.

The winner will also receive:

How can participants practice before the championship?

Registered participants receive access to the JCA Practice Timer.

Students can practice using standard competition scrambles provided by JCA and track their daily improvement and practice ranking.

When will Weekly Practice Championship winners be announced?

Top performers receive special recognition and rewards.

What certificates will participants receive?

Participants in the 3×3×3 Cube Event will receive:

📜 Printed Merit Certificate (based on medal criteria)
🥇 Merit Medal (if criteria achieved)

The certificate will also include:

  • School tagging

Because of this recognition system, participation in the 3×3×3 cube event is strongly recommended.

Are certificates given for other cube events?

For other cube events:

📄 E-Certificates of participation will be provided.

Podium recognition for those events will be through podium trophies and rankings.

When will podium trophies be delivered?

Podium winner trophies will be delivered within 7–10 days after the result announcement.

Will podium trophies always be awarded?

Podium trophies depend on participation levels in each event and age category.

If the number of participants in a category is less than the desired participation count of 10, the number of podium trophies may be adjusted.

When will the exact championship schedule be shared?

The final schedule will be uploaded 2 days before the championship.

Participants must log in to their JCA dashboard to check their event timings.

When will results be announced?

What should I do if payment confirmation is not received?

If confirmation is not received within 72 working hours, please share payment details again via WhatsApp with the participant name.

Can registration fees be refunded?

Once registration is completed, registration fees are non-refundable.
